Founded in 2025, Grinning Monkeys was born on the road. From a few friends chasing sunsets on motorcycles to a tribe that lives for freedom, adventure, and connection.
Our founders are riders first. They’ve conquered Himalayan passes in India, coastal curves in Australia, and jungle trails in Bali. After 10+ years of sharing miles, mishaps, and unforgettable stories, they set out to create rides that capture that same magic for others.
Every route we offer is one we’ve lived. Tested through grit, laughter, and a love for the open road. Because for us, it’s never just about the destination. It’s about the ride, the tribe, and the grin that stays long after the engine cools.
Meet the people behind the grin
Born and raised in South India, Candida’s love for bikes started with rides on her dad’s motorcycle. After years in the corporate grind, she swapped the office for the open road. She’s since been chasing freedom, adventure, and the dream of exploring the world on two wheels.
When the world shut down in 2020, Marcus swapped his life as a touring musician for life on a motorcycle. What started as a spontaneous ride turned into a love for travel, filming, and open-road adventures. Eventually, he decided to team up with friends to share that spirit with others.
After years balancing a busy corporate life with long rides across India and beyond, Vivek eventually made the road his home. A true digital nomad, he’s explored India, Southeast Asia, and Australia on two wheels, leading tours and living life in motion ever since.
